I help researchers navigate the scientific publishing world and improve the quality of their research

My story in short

With over 20 years of experience, I have worked with many stakeholders dealing with data, analytics and information in various industries. As Head of Customer Success at Clarivate Analytics, I collaborate with Governments, Universities, Research Centers and Funders on a consultation basis to help them drive discovery and innovation in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

I also train Researchers on various scientific intelligence resources and tools to enhance the quality of their research projects.

Next to my full time job, I’m a researcher at the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS), Leiden University in the Netherlands. My research interests include Quantitative Science and Technology Studies as well as Research Evaluation. I currently work on several projects related to the state of Scientific Research in the Middle-East and North Africa.

I enjoy writing about topics related to scientific research, including tips to get started, tools & productivity hacks, advice to improve scientific writing and to navigate the scientific publishing world.

I want to share the knowledge I acquired during my career as a science consultant and during my PhD.
